The nursery at the ARC-TSC propagates plant material, seed and seedling trees of a variety of tropical and subtropical crops including avocado, citrus, guava, litchi, mango, macadamia, pecan nut and some other exotic crops.

In the search for new cultivars, the nursery plays an intricate role in multiplying trees for research purposes. The nursery is also responsible for training on a national as well as international scale on propagating techniques ontropical and subtropical crops. Limited amount of plants are for sale on commercial basis as the focus is on research and training. Some research is currently being done on the propagation of indigenous fruit.
