The nursery at the ARC-TSC focusses on propagation techniques of a variety of tropical and subtropical crops including avocado, citrus, guava, litchi, mango, macadamia, pecan and some other exotic crops. In the search for new cultivars, the nursery plays an intricate role in multiplying trees for research purposes. The nursery also provides training on a national as well as international scale. Orders for commercial planting material can also be accommodated, whilst germplasm material can also be provided to producers wishing to top work or produce their own trees.
